Lighting Design Engineer
Job Description
Lighting Design Engineer required to produce high quality lighting layouts and schemes for public buildings, offices and commercial premises.
Starting from a bare room or room / space specification, the successful candidate will interpret, specify and design 2D AutoCAD drawings with lighting layouts, providing innovative solutions to customers requirements.
A minimum of 2 years lighting design experience is required along with LIF certification. Experience in Dialux is required to carry out lighting calculations with the candidates own skill in design. A basic knowledge of lighting controls would be beneficial.

Job Description
The main purpose of these two posts is to increase sales revenue in both existing and new markets.
To offer commercial and unique lighting solutions, calling on Architects, Hospitals, Schools, Universities and Consulting Engineers.
Responsible for developing new business, managing new and existing accounts.
To provide a total lighting solution service to clients incorporating low energy lighting surveys.
Plan calls in an efficient manner and complete all reporting procedures and administration as per company operations.
Candidate Specification
Qualifications
City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical Engineering or greater. LIF certification will be helpful.
Skills
Proven sales ability to develop new and existing clients and meeting targets set.
Experience Required
This role requires experience of selling on a technical level and the ability to offer solutions incorporating energy saving advice.
Experience Preferred
A knowledge of selling commercial / industrial lighting into the specification market.
