Multicare
Overview
The Multicare is a specialised dual function luminaire specifically designed for hospital
ward over bed lighting providing distinctive light levels suitable for surface and recessed
installation. The Multicare incorporates design features which simplify installation and
maintenance.
Features
- Offers three distinct light levels from one fitting
- Meets updated LG2 requirements
- Designed to comply with clean room standards with a 'satin ice' polycarbonate framed diffuser held by wishbone springs to facilitate cleaning
- Removable frame with the use of a suction cup
- Surface versions available
- 2 centrally positioned 24W T5 lamps will achieve the 150 lux required for patient reading, dimmable via 1-10V or touch dim controllers or via DALI system (Alternative dimming switching options available, please refer to our technical department for special installation requirements).
- 4 outer positioned 24W T5 lamps operated via medical staff will achieve the required 300 lux for inspection
- All 6 lamps at full output will achieve the required 500 lux for examination
- Supplied with side arm fixing brackets as standard to facilitate fixing into plasterboard or exposed 'T' ceilings
- IP54 rated
- Integral emergency available
- For full design potential use with Philips 840 or 865 T5 lamps
