Apollo recommend the use of Xtra and Xtreme lamps in sports hall due to access problems.

Xtreme lamps are not designed or recommended to be dimmed. Xtra lamps can be dimmed to a minimum level of 30%, this should be set on the control system so the lamp can not run below this level. Running the Xtra lamps below this level will reduce the lamp life.

Xtra and Xtreme Secura lamps - T8 versions

These lamps are as above but with a special teflon coating on the outside of the lamp. They are recommended for areas where contamination resulting in breakage should be prevented (e.g. all applications related to the food & beverage industry).
